My Translation Journey
I began my love of languages when I began my secondary education. First starting with French and German, I eventually fell in love with Spanish and never looked back.
What’s up with the Title?
I chose the title ‘The Art of Carrying Words’ because it reflects the way in which a translator carries the words of the original author of a text into another language. The act of translation preserves the meaning and original intentions of the author in the newly translated text therefore placing the words into the new text carefully and with precision.
This Blog’s Purpose
This blog tracks steady growth, failures, and actionable insights of a translator and contains posts about the craft of language translation through the eyes of a freelance translator as they carry their words from one language to another.
